My name is Dr Nada Zain, and I am a chemistry researcher and lecturer with over twenty five years of experience in research and teaching. I have a PhD, in Physical Organic Chemistry from Glasgow University, a Master of Science, in Industrial Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science, in General Chemistry.
I am bilingual educator offering skills in communication, leadership, organisation and a results-oriented researcher who works well under pressure both individually and as part of a team. I have an exceptional presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. I am committed lecturer specializing in delivering quality instruction in a variety of undergraduate courses.
I really benefit from engaging with students to aid them find their passion, whether they are young students studying for their Highers, or more mature students at degree level.

I began my career from 1991 and until 2007 I had different jobs out of the UK. From 1991 to 1993 I worked in the Chemistry Department, Education College, Demonstrating undergraduate students and supervising on the chemistry labs. From 1996 to 1998 I worked in the Chemical Industry Department, Technical Institute as a Lecturer teaching chemistry to 1st-2nd year students and supervising 2nd year projects and working on research projects. From 1998 to 2007 I worked in Fuel and Energy Engineering Department, Technical College as a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry. Teaching to 1st-4th year students and Supervising 4th year projects and working on research projects.
Then in 2008, I came to Glasgow and I started demonstrating undergraduate students in the school of chemistry, University of Glasgow. Then in 2013 to 2014 I went back to the Fuel and Energy Engineering Department, Technical College and Lectured in Organic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Teaching to 1st-4th year students; Supervising 4th year projects and working on research projects as well as supervising postgraduate students.
From 2015 to present day I have been private tutoring of the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Maths for all levels in Glasgow, UK.
