I am able to provide engaging education support to secondary school students who are either struggling with science subjects or looking to gain more from their school science education. I engage with students to discuss topics which they have learnt in school, ensure their understanding and build on this knowledge further to improve their interest and opportunity in science. I am patient and adaptable to each student to find ways in which they would like to learn, and which are most effective for them.
I have taught English as a foreign language in the past and have tutored on a small scale to enable students to achieve several grades higher than their predicted grade in Biology. I collaborate with students to decide on goals to achieve, and work to enable students to achieve their aspirations.
