Hello! My name is Blythe, I am an American PhD student studying at the University of Glasgow. I did my BA in the US in general history with a minor in education, which gives me both teaching experience and a broad background as I have done basic maths, science, psychology, sociology, and English lit. at the uni level before concentrating in my final years (the typical BA pathway in American universities). I can advise on most areas of history as I did a general history BA, though my current focus is medieval Anglo-Scottish warfare and fortifications (if you have any specific interest). I can also advise on essay structure and writing, writing of cover letters and personal statements, and research methodology/dissertation writing.
I am open to any lesson schedule and prefer to design the lesson plans collaboratively. As a research student my schedule is wide open . :)
I am new to one-on-one tutoring, but in my did three teaching placements in my undergraduate degree, the first in a general education year three class for two days, the second a week in a special needs class at a primary inner-city school for one week, and the third two months in years seven and eight history class.
