My teaching on a particular topic starts with one on one conversation with the student and the assessment of their knowledge on a specific topic. The focus starts from the areas where the student is weak and I gradually cover the entire topic. One of the valuable lessons that I try to impart on my students is my passion for learning and techniques that can make learning easier. Often these techniques are the ones that I have implemented myself during my time at university. I am also highly results-focused and value preparing for exams. Hence, I tend to use a lot of past exam papers during my tutoring sessions. Apart from understanding how questions are structured, I have found that it familiarises my students with exam conditions and helps lessen nerves during the actual exam.
