I teach both with a high level of structure to my lesson plans and with the flexibility to adapt to my students current ability. My first session is usually a diagnostic exercise in which I learn about my student so I can best tailor their educational support in future lessons focusing on their weaknesses, exam technique and current understanding. I find the best way to teach is to enable a student to use the tools they already have to understand concepts which they struggle with and break examination questions down so that not only do they do well in exams but retain the knowledge impart on them for the long term and hopefully inspire them for the future.
I graduated from University of Nottingham with a masters in chemistry before I started tutoring. I then underwent a 4 year graduate degree in medicine at St George’s University of London during which time I tutored undergraduate students in biochemistry and for entrance to medical school.
My daughter was tutored by Bhaven for over a year. His way of tutoring was amazing, he guided her up till all her exams finished. She felt very comfortable in asking questions if she didn’t understand anything. Her results spoke volumes due to his help.
