Hello. My name is Macauley; I am a recent physics graduate from the University of Kent, graduating with a 2:1 degree.
I've done lots of mathematics in my life. I got an A* in Mathematics at GCSE, I got an A in Mathematics at A-level, and it was also a big part of my degree, taking mathematics modules in every year at university.
The first thing I ask the pupil in advance, is the exam board and also any areas in particular that they struggle with. From there I build a syllabus around completely learning the whole specification, as well as testing the pupil every three or five lessons.
I've given unpaid mathematics lessons to friends and family whilst I was at university , to around seven students. I got at least a 2:1 pass mark in all of my mathematics modules at university. I was also present in the Mathematics society at university.
