My teaching methods are mostly student lead (by that i mean focusing on their needs). I like to break down complicated things in to their simplest form and explaining them in a way that make sense for everyone and differentiated to cater for everyone.
I am a Qualified science Teacher yet to do my NQT year, I have worked as a tutor for over 9 months in the past and i am a physics graduate from Cardiff University. I have tutored mathematics more than i have tutored physics or science.
Depending on the level and the situation the prices can be negotiated but if lessons are cancelled less than 24 hours of when we were meant to have a session then there will be a cancellation fee which would be half price the normal fee.
Recently finished doing my PGCE course, from the University of Bristol, trained to be a science (physics) teacher. Really good at developing good rapport and that has translated in to an environment that is conducive to learning in my classes. Physics graduate from Cardiff University, who is driven and highly enthusiastic about solving problems also thrives at the chance of a challenge. I worked on a computational based project which involved the simulation and investigation of the mechanics of sprinting for my dissertation. Keen in doing things thoroughly and in an efficient manner. I am hard working, with the experience of over six years working as a care assistant. I work well both as part of a team and as an individual and I always make sure I meet my deadlines. Polite friendly and have good communication skills. Looking for an opportunity to begin a career as an education provider.

GCSEs; 5 grade A-C; consists of A* in Maths and Physics, an A in Chemistry and B in Biology and English.
As a physicist I excel at problem solving, which I always try to do thoroughly and in an efficient manner. I have realised that the best way to approach problems is to understand the problem, analyse it and then go about solving it in a logical manner. That allowed me to develop very strong scientific analytical skills. All this was put to test every week while studying as some modules were fully dedicated in practicing this aspect of life (i.e. Experimental Physics, Synoptic Physics and Environmental Physics).
GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Through-out my life I have cultivated my ability to have great communication skills both verbal and written. All the jobs I have been involved in, have all involved having good verbal communication skills with a lot of different kinds of people from different walks of life and this has made me develop good interpersonal skills. This has been put to great practice working as a tutor where I must concisely explain new and complicated information for school children
I work well independently and as part of a team. I have had numerous modules where we had to work as teams. They consisted of weekly problems which were completed at a given time frame and a formal report and/or lab report submitted at the end. All the team-based modules required good delegation, organisation and time management skills.
As one of the senior members of the sprint group for my athletics club in Bradford and being the co-track captain for the university’s athletics club I have been able to lead others and share my knowledge of the sport. This has made me be able to asses and plan out ways of delivering my knowledge to both youths and adults. It has also allowed me to gain skills on how to organise people and get them to follow the planned session in the best way possible.
I am confident working with computers and have completed three modules of computational physics where the language of choice was python. This has given me confidence with coding programs which led me to choosing a computational based project which I created and completed myself with a little guidance and input from my supervisor. I am proficient with a computer and a quick learner too.
