About Golam
I have been a teaching assistant in Physics for 7 years at Indiana University. I constantly strive to improve my teaching and take feedback seriously. I understand how each student is different, and my approach to teaching is tailored for individual students. It's very important to me that my students succeed, and gain appreciation for the subject while doing so.

As a PhD graduate in Physics, I bring many years of experience in Physics and Math, including in teaching these subjects!
I have always loved Physics and Math, but more importantly I've come across both excellent teachers of these topics and ones who weren't as great. This created a life long interest in how to teach these subjects in a way that engages students and helps them avoid confusion- an all too common thing for many students. It's always a great feeling seeing the metaphorical light bulb goes on in a student when they finally understand a concept, and I love helping students get there. (I've also been told I'm good at it by my students!)
