Lessons would begin by orally discussing a new or continued topic, laying the foundation and fundamentals of the given idea or principle. After which I would take an example question based on the lessons material and work through it with the pupil as a demonstration of how to construct an answer. I would then issue a question to be done independently at the pupils own pace and offer help where necessary to gauge their ability and understanding. Usually lessons would conclude with an explanation of any uncertainties from that day, and with an optional homework style question for the next lesson.
I have 6 years experience studying mathematics, physics and chemistry at high school, being awarded 6 Higher A's, 2 Advanced Higher A's, as well as 1 years experience in university level chemistry, and 2 years in university level maths and physics. Currently in my third year at Glasgow, I am looking to tutor secondary school pupils at any level.
