Professional Experience

1) Police Mutual Assurance Society (PMAS), Lichfield (July 2013-Present)

In Police Mutual, I’ve carried out different roles and position. Details are as follows

• Lead Test Analyst (Current)

Due to the complexity of the OISA MI project I’ve been asked to lead and deliver a test strategy, planning, test execution, estimation, reporting to business stakeholders. The project involved intense data warehouse testing where I held daily meetings with the Data Architects and stakeholders.

• Data Development Team Lead (Sep 2015-Dec 2016)

Delivered various projects in a timely manner, daily scrum meeting held with the team to ensure projects were on target of delivering to tight deadlines and identify issues/blockers for resolution. Daily scrum meetings held with offshore team to ensure all projects delivery plans were on schedule.

• SQL Developer (March 2015-Sep 2015)

Coding in Microsoft server management studio and where needed created stored procedures and embedded into SSIS/SSRS packages. A good and thorough working knowledge of data flows from source to destination through different ETL packages.

• Senior Test Analyst (July 2013-March 2015)

Reported directly to test manager while leading a test team for project name ‘Secure Web’ which required front end and backend database testing.

2) FDM Group (July 2010-June 2013)

FDM is a dynamic IT services provider with a powerful business model. I have worked in FDM Group as a capacity of Senior Software Test Analyst, and following are the clients where I have carried out my work.

• Police Mutual Assurance Society (PMAS), Lichfield (March 2012-June 2013)

Senior Test Analyst

I was involved in the Alpha Migration Project of Police Mutual which involved full code and data migration from legacy software ADABAS to Microsoft.Net using SQL database on the back end. I also have worked in Data Warehouse projects and have in-depth knowledge of data warehousing. Following are my role and responsibilities in various projects:

 Creation & execution of Test Plans, Test Scripts in Visual Studio Test Manager.
 Regression testing on the new releases. UAT and E2E System testing.
 Selection and generation of Test Data through SQL Server Management Studio.
 Carrying out retesting of fixed defects to ensure that the identified issues are fixed.
 Daily providing test execution reports which detailed the progress of the testing.
 Working in Agile environment, daily meeting with Developer, analyst, and stakeholders.
 Creating and running SSIS packages, taking Database backup & restoring the database.
 System testing on individual phases and then integration testing of all phases

• Barclays Bank, Knutsford (January 2012-March 2012)

Test Analyst

I worked as a part of the P2P Testing team at Barclays which used Agile Methodologies. My role in Barclays involved testing Smartphone applications which is Barclays Pin-git Software. My duties were:
 Executing Test Script in HPQC.
 Raising and Assigning Defects to Developers.
 Performing Regression Testing.

• ASDA House, Leeds (January 2011-January 2012)

Test Analyst/Lead Analyst
I worked closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements and produced test case scenarios and test conditions for the ASDA Direct platform. I have designed and performed Integration Testing, System testing, UAT and Regression Testing on ISD systems to ensure that faults were reduced to an acceptable level before projects were released into production. I lead and delivered various projects successfully to ASDA and George.
Role Responsibilities
 Reviewed the BRD (Business Requirement Documents) and TDD (Technical Design Documents).
 Raised and maintained defects in Quality Centre.
 Conducted regular meetings with Business Analyst and Technical Analyst.
 Creation & execution of Test Plans, Test cases, Test Scripts and sign-offs for ISD Projects.
 Determining Test Results, Verification of build changes.
 Carried out Impact Analysis around the new enhancements implemented.
 Carried & Maintained QTP Test Scripts.

• FDM Training center, Manchester (July 2010-December 2010)
I have a strong understanding of Software Testing Fundamentals. After completing software testing training I gained a stronger understanding of software testing fundamental theory, manual testing, and automated testing. The software testing syllabus at FDM was broad and covered the training in both theoretical and practical aspects of software testing. I have undertaken the following courses in FDM training center.
ISEB Foundation certificate in software testing, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Quality Centre, Oracle SQL Project and UNIX, project.

3) ASDA CDC1, Wakefield, (September 2008 – December 2009)

Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, I was able to deliver high standards of customer service. This role was primarily concerned with managing the supply chain and all associated processes, which included maintaining control of assigned products, from the calculation of order, right through to the delivery into the warehouse.

Electronic Engineer
My main responsibilities were troubleshooting in electronics cards. Installation of various electronics equipment like proximity sensors, light sensors, flame sensors. Installation and maintenance of PLC, AC drives, and DC drives. Also was responsible for troubleshooting in inverters like PUMA RM5, SIMOVERT. Fault rectification in Electronics as well as the Electrical panel.
