There is no magic teaching formula that works automatically. My teaching methodology will depend on my student's level, age, goals, and motivation. I strongly believe that my students must be inspired to learn and practice, which is why my primary goal will be just that, to inspire. Once that is set, we will crack on learning what needs to be learnt. I've had many teachers in my past, some better than others, and I have learnt what makes a good tutor and what doesn't.
I am a student at the University of Edinburgh, currently studying Acoustics and Music Technology. Before that I lived in Lebanon, where I learnt how to play the piano at 6 years old. Honestly, my teaching experience is rather short, having only taught people I knew beforehand, and I'm looking to get more teaching experience.
I'll charge 15£ per hour, 10£ for half an hour.
