I teach pupils according to their learning styles and try to adapt to the needs of my pupils. I encourage improvisation at all levels and have some good ideas and useful strategies for helping pupils to improve their reading of the notes at a glance. I teach sight-reading using an intervallic approach, encouraging students to look for identifiable patterns in the pieces they are learning and showing evidence og their thought processes by penciling in fingerings and circling or labeling intervals I think it is important for pupils to enjoy the repertoire they are learning.
I am a qualified and experienced piano teacher with excellent ABRSM results at all levels.
