- Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a wide range of students at present and vary my individual lessons accordingly. They all make excellent progress and enjoy my lessons greatly. One pupil has been with me 2 years and is already preparing for her Grade 4 Piano exam. I have a few primary school pupils who are preparing for their Initial keyboard exam. I have one pupil who is 5 and has 20 minutes of musical fun time with me as well as a handful of adult students, one of who is fufiling a lifetime's ambition.
My grandson,(6) has lessons with Lexi He began with twenty minute lessons and now has thirty. We are delighted with his progress. I overhear the lesson as I wait and am fascinated by the standard of teaching as an older teacher myself. Every minute is pure gold. Her ability to adapt to the learner's needs is so impressive. The talents, enthusiasm & love of music are ever strong. I feel very grateful that my grandson has been lucky enough to start his musical education with such an inspirational teacher.
My son has had lessons for a term now, having begun GCSE in Music. Prior to this he had no training in keyboard other than weekly class lessons. I was concerned as my son has Aspergers Syndrome and finds new situations and people difficult. I need not have worried, Lexi is so calm and patient with him, even when he is having a 'bad' day. He has come on in leaps and bounds; no doubt it is not just to Lexi's teaching style but her calm and cheerful attitude. He loves his lessons, it is £17.50 well spent!
