Lessons are tailored to the students' character and needs, focused on the progress and technique development, with the main aim of learning creatively.
We will be exploring the pieces with theory knowledge, and practical improvisational skills, which contributes to all rounded musicianship.
I am a Malaysian concert pianist based in London since 2014, graduated from Royal Academy of Music, and have performed extensively in Europe, China, Japan and Malaysia. I am passionate about teaching and have taught pupils of all ages in my private lessons, masterclasses, as well as King's College undergraduates. I would love to share my experiences with young pianists. More information on performances may be found on (concealed information)
I obtained a teaching degree from Music University of Freiburg, Germany (2009) and am experienced in teaching complete beginners as well as advanced students, including children with special needs. Apart from teaching privately, I also tutor at King's College London and Co-Director of the Pianoland Academy. In addition to that, I have given masterclasses to students of Imperial College London, and given talks in music universities in Malaysia.
Lessons start at £25/30mins.
I am happy to accommodate and reschedule lessons whenever possible, but please make your cancellations 48-hr in advance to help keep things organised.
