Having retired from the legal profession I sought to revive my interest in classical piano. I was introduced to Jill Crooks and found her to be an excellent teacher; most sympathetic to my weaknesses and overall an excellent pianist. I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone wishing to learn to play the piano.
Jill Crooks is an inspiring music teacher who taught three of our children to play piano over a period of 20 years, and gave them all a love of music. Jill also taught my mother starting age 73 who went on to accompany the Mozart Clarinet concerto for one of the family at one of Jill's concerts. Jill is a great professional yet empathetic, reliable and consistent yet responsive to pupil's preferences. We warmly recommend Jill as a dynamic and inspiring teacher.
I have known Jill Crooks for over 10 years. She has tutored my three children from being novices to attaining Grade 8 results at distinction and merit level. Tuition is first-rate; based on years of expert playing and technical awareness. Students led through logical and well-pitched sequence towards thorough preparation for exams. Jill motivates students with friendly manner and by commanding respect for her knowledge. Able to unreservedly recommend.
