Piano teacher with 4 years experience: teaching beginners level to grade 5 , as well as music theory from grade 1 to 3

Methodology

My teaching methodology is based on encouraging students to enjoy playing and learning piano, whilst also progressing. For beginners, I use a mix of a beginner's piano book , teaching well known songs, and engaging games to teach students the basic concepts of theory and piano playing. For grades, I use my own as well as my student's experience in ABRSM exams to give in depth training of scales, aural tests, sight reading and playing a range of musical pieces.

Experience

I am a young, experienced piano and maths tutor, who is enthusiastic about encouraging children to enjoy ‎music and piano. I have 4 years of experience in piano tutoring children from the age range 6 to 13, from ‎beginners to grade 5 level with my students achieving two merits and performing highly on ABRSM exams. I ‎received my merit in Grade 8 piano , and Grade 5 music theory qualification, in addition to working towards the ‎ARSM diploma. ‎

• Maths mentoring at sixth form allowed me to gain a further 1 year of experience teaching maths at a ‎GCSE level
