I have put many students through ABRSM board exams and some through the Trinity board.
I have helped students through GSCE and equivalent exams with their performance and theory.
I am a classical musician with vast experience in the performing world. I have performed around the world in a variety of venues with different ensembles.
I graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2014 and since then have been teaching and performing across Europe and New Zealand.
I am currently studying Music Therapy in Bristol which is opening up many new and exciting musical avenues for me.
I have been teaching privately since 2010 working with children and adults alike, from beginners to more advanced practitioners.

I have recorded multiple albums and EP’s and performed live at a number of music festivals for
highly successful popular musicians including The Guillemots and Submotion Orchestra. I toured
around Britain with the Scottish Ensemble, venues including the Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh and The
Wigmore Hall, London. Freelance work with the Liverpool Philharmonic. have travelled across the
UK and Europe playing with a number of different ensembles, professional, amateur and youth. As
the violist in numerous string quartets I have had the opportunity to perform around the UK and
Europe, performing in festivals, masterclasses, competitions as well as giving masterclasses as part
of some youth and school schemes. I also enjoyed performing at a number of British music festivals
performing pop, electronic and backing music.
Chamber Music tutor at EcHO (Edinburgh Children’s Orchestra) : Helping children between the ages of 4-17 with their solo playing, ensemble and chamber groups as well as coaching. Piano, viola, flute and recorder teacher : Teaching private lessons weekly, up to 11 students from the ages of 4-50.
Laura is not only a talented musician but also an approachable, friendly, professional and inspirational teacher. I have had the pleasure of working with her and it's always a delight. I would highly recommend Laura as a teacher and performer.
