I base my classes on the needs of the specific individual I am teaching. I like to discuss which areas they specifically want to improve in such as a particular area of subject content or skill such as essay writing. This could also be a particular style of exam question or revision method, and then structure the time we spend together to target those things.
I'm an undergraduate at the University of Exeter, studying for a joint honours degree in Theology and Politics. I have taught group revision sessions for GCSE students, and also tutored students one to one in both humanities subjects and general study and revision technique.
Clara Oakley - (concealed information)
I have done one to one tutoring in humanites subjects and study skills and have also got experience in leading a revision group for GCSE Religious Studies. I took dance lessons regularly from age 4-18 and once I was an older student regularly got involved in supporting my peers and younger students. This helped me to improve my ability to explain things clearly, and in multiple different ways if something was still unclear.
I am mildly dyslexic and so I worked hard to study as effectively as possible in order to achieve my GCSE and A Level grades, enabling me to study essay subjects at undergraduate level. I'm passionate about helping others of all abilities to improve in thier academics - whatever that may look like for them.
