WORK EXPERIENCE
Stevens and Bolton, London - Summer Vacation Scheme

Mazars, London — Public Sector Risk Assurance Consultant
September 2020 - Present
In this role I conduct independent audits of local and central government. This role contains a lot of client meetings with employees of central and local government. Furthermore, it is a very analytical role and requires a lot of independent research. I also have to write concise reports after every audit. I have been involved in numerous successful FactFind audits too.

Leaders, Worthing — Client Accounts Assistant
September 2019 - September 2020
Whilst at Leaders I was tasked with looking after the finances of 15 branches. Throughout this role I was in regular contact with landlords and tenants. I was in charge of branch income, making sure VAT was applied correctly, reimbursement claims, payment changes and investigating suspicious activity. Through customer service feedback and analysis I was awarded employee of the month various times.

Holland and Barrett, Leeds — Key Holder
September 2018 - September 2019
I worked at Holland and Barrett during my final year of University. My main tasks in this role were advising and serving customers, counting and checking the stock and opening and closing the shop. I had to take exams in order to be able to advise customers and thus I received BTEC’s in nutrition and biology as well as specific qualifications concerning Holland and Barrett product knowledge.

Freedom from Torture, London — Community Fundraising Assistant
June 2018 - September 2018
Throughout the summer of 2018 I completed an internship with Freedom from Torture. I worked within the fundraising department but frequently helped out other departments, such as the legal department. My main tasks during this internship were to write articles for both the website and the newsletter, to contact our local sponsors via phone call, email and letter and to help organise fundraising events, such as Freedom from Torture’s street food fundraising event.

PureGym, Leeds — Member Services Advisor
September 2017 - June 2018
During my second year of University I worked at the head office of PureGym. This was a customer service role in which I responded to all customer queries via phone, email, social media and online chat. This role included a large amount of customer service and problem solving.

Aside from being an all round fab (and super organised) person, Phoebe has a talent for taking a complex topic and making it straightforward which is important in the world of politics. She even made the Electoral College sound easy!

Phoebe is passionate, enthusiastic and confident in her politics knowledge. She is able to translate complex concepts into a way that the learner easily understands. Her positive attitude makes learning super easy - as well as her friendliness and kindness which makes it really easy to never feel afraid to ask questions. Phoebe is a natural teacher and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to excel in politics.
