I learn French at a University level and so I find it simple to break down the language so that younger students can understand it easier. I like to play games in my lessons to keep students interested and create worksheets for students to use. In addition, I offer support but try to encourage the student to answer questions and solve problems themselves first. I hand out stickers for effort and correct answers, and encourage students to try again when they do not get the right answer the first time.
I have been providing basic French lessons alongside my studies and my retail job to young family members once a week, for the past two years. My students have achieved grades as high as A's in their GCSE's, and level 6 in year 7, 8 and 9.
