Support, encouragement and structure are the three most important things for progressing in any creative project.
My sessions include short and longer exercises in whichever form of drawing, painting or sketchbook work you choose and reflections on a small, weekly project that I'll set at the end of each session.
You'll learn about the creative process, how to reflect on your own work, and professional techniques to take your abilities to the next level!
I have a first-class Masters degree in creative writing from the University of Stirling, and earned a distinction-graded diploma in art & design from Edinburgh College. I have also appeared as a contestant on Sky Arts' Portrait Artist of the Year. I tutor young people in English and maths at the same time, so am experienced in delivering fun and engaging sessions.
Whether you need support with portfolio preparation or an exam, would like some guidance for improving your drawing skills, or want to learn professional painting techniques, I can help you make the most of your creative potential!
