About the lesson
I have an undergraduate degree in French and Spanish with Italian, PGCE ( Post graduate Certificate in Education) in secondary school and my first language is Portuguese. I am used to planning lessons for around 30 students to last about 1 hour (that is what I did in my teacher training). However, for someone who is willing to learn, we could cover a 'class lesson' in 30 minutes.
I teach 11-18 year olds, who are looking for extra support in their language skills to pass their GCSEs or A-levels.
In my lessons, the objectives are mainly to practice all 4 skills (writing, reading, speaking, listening) and to do that, we will work on not only 'remembering' words/sounds, but also how the language works.

About Bianca
I am from Brazil and my first language is Portuguese, the only one I spoke for 15 years of my life. When I moved to England, I did not speak English and I had to go to school. There, I learnt Spanish and French, and found my love for languages, which made me carry on with them in my A-levels. When I started my undergraduate degree I found out I could also choose to learn some Italian, and although it isn't perfect right now, I do pride myself in saying that 'yes, I can speak 5 languages'. If it weren't for my teachers throughout all these years, I would not be able to repeat that sentence. I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to be a good role model for other people, just as my teachers were to me.
At the moment, with the uncertainty of the pandemic, I decided not to work at a school, and I thought that online would be a safer way of carrying on with my objective.

Perfect! So friendly and enthusiastic. Bonded well with my daughter. Did a lot of relevant reading for the A levels and had a lot of resources.She has done Spanish Alevel and degree so understands exam techniques as well as being excellent at Spanish
