Methodology
Tutoring is tailored to each individual’s needs, I am very supportive and encouraging, helping to build confidence in students. I believe the key to success in any STEM subject is enjoyment and so try to make my lessons fun as well as having a structured approach. For specific problem areas, I break down problem areas to ensure that each step is a simple and easy to understand. For exam preparation, I spend time going through past exam papers and building exam techniques, whilst working out areas of weakness and focusing on these.
Experience
Currently on gap a gap year studying an OU Maths module prior to going to University to study maths. I achieved A* in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A level. I have previously tutored GCSE students and now volunteer at my old school mentoring A level students in preparation for STEP and MAT entrance exams.
