I am also happy to offer specific support and guidance to students working on dissertations (I received a mark of 90 in my final year undergraduate dissertation), and can look over drafts of coursework and exam answers (I regularly copy-edit articles and books for a number of publishers including Bloomsbury and Cambridge University Press).
Experience
I am currently studying for a research masters in social research, law and legal studies at Birkbeck, and have a first class law degree from Queen Mary, University of London. I achieved first class marks in all my final year modules, as well as a mark of 90 for my dissertation. I plan to begin a PhD in law later this year.
I am also an experienced editor, and have edited for a number of law journals as well as for Bloomsbury and Cambridge University Press.

Perfect! Jack was really helpful, he makes sure you get the best out of the class. He helped me to understand something in legislation I was struggling with and he takes short time to respond.

There are so many factors about Jack that have make him such a fantastic tutor. Primarily, his patience stood out the most. He’d take time and care to explain things to me that I didn’t think I’d ever be able to get my head round!
I’m usually quite dubious of these online services, but given the current times everything has moved online, which makes uni work so difficult for me as someone who needs a fair bit of a guidance. I heard of Jack through someone on my course and am now completely sold - which is down to his tutoring.
His profound passion and knowledge in legal studies really shone through, making it really engaging for me. Thanks to Jack I’m starting to share this passion. If this sounds too OTT I apologise, but I can’t vouch his corner enough.
Jack assisted me and my housemates with Univeristy essays, proofreading our work to assess whether it was fit for submission. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the Law was extremely useful to us throughout our time at university and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
