I teach through my own experience, what I would do to approach an answer. I am versatile with all audiences, catering my teaching to all ages and being calm and understanding throughout. I would take a step by step type of teaching to allow students to have clarity and confidence in their learning.
From helping those around me with English Literature for many years I feel I offer helpful learning that will push grades up by adding eloquence and clarity to your writing. I took English Literature for GCSE and A Level in recent years, making me familiar with the most modern versions of the courses and teaching them in a youthful way that is guaranteed to be relatable and beneficial.
I only teach GCSE at the set costs specified. I still charge for the lesson if it is cancelled in under 24 hours, however as long as I have more than 24 hours notice it will be cancelled free of charge.

The Body Shop (October 2017-December 2018) - My job was to consult customers, offering assistance and serving them at the till as well as replenishing stock and carrying out other duties necessary. I worked flexibly, showing up early always prepared and ready to do my best.
Since working at the Body Shop I have gained skills such as improved communication to customers, serving them with high service quality. I have also learned how to cope under pressure, whether that be time, sales expectations or customer difficulty/problems and handling them in tactful ways.
McDonalds (June-September 2018) - I was a customer consultant representing the face of McDonalds during this job, with the main responsibilities of cleaning, waitressing and taking any questions or complaints. I worked long hours that were full on and fast paced proving my ability to work under pressure. I often had to switch between job roles, sometimes working in the kitchen too which was a lot of pressure, picking up different skills on the job, showing that I am versatile and open to different environments.
PlayBox Theatre (current) - Here I currently work a few hours a week with joint responsibilities of working as a senior class assistant for technical and performance theatre from ages 4-16 and a box office attendant for all shows, booking, printing and refunding tickets and answering any questions, queries or complaints. I also take on cleaning and organisation roles in this part of the job. Both jobs show my versatility and responsibility to both the company and their members. I use qualities of confidence and clarity to be able to teach and address a wide range of audiences from the members who I teach to the customers who are attending their shows in which I serve. Working in a theatre, as well as having acted in the past in this environment, I have an extreme professionalism and respect towards this industry.
I have entered the BBC young poetry competition, coming runner up as well as having my poetry read by the Royal Shakespeare Company at a young age and from then on I have only gained further interest towards the art of poetry and words, very recently performing in many poetry nights at the RSC The Other Place and across venues in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, and always remaining something I am passionate and proud of and constantly creating. This fueled my growth in self-confidence and shows my multicultural sensitivity and social awareness and ability to create art out of it.
I used to be apart of a dance company in Stratford called Rozie T Dance learning the ways of ballet and contemporary dance; however, now to maintain fitness I regularly attend a local gym, exerting self-discipline.
I also had a radio show which some peers and I ran together focusing on musicals which gave me confidence and vocal skills in different ways to what I already had and after this I took part in radio dramas of outnumbered and stranger things within my school, auditioning for these roles. Inside of school also I became part of ‘Voice of BOA’; a council committee where chosen students who were interviewed and had application stages to get through, put ideas into making the school better, putting action to these words, showing planning and problem-solving, teamwork, honesty and integrity.
I love reading, watching films, listening to music and travelling. I understand the power of all arts and the beauty of the world and my engagement in it only proves how determined I am to make them all apart of my future career with a place in the arts.
