I approach each topic with patience and care and find the best way to help the student learn and understand the material. When teaching languages I find it best to do so through games and activities, rather than through grammar exercises and dictionaries.
I am currently attending University of Stirling to study Primary Education with a Specialism in Modern Languages.
I come from a bilingual family and am very adept at languages, particularly Spanish and French. I am in the process of learning Italian and I am currently working towards a TEFL qualification so I can teach English as a foreign language.
I have a lot of experience working with children as I volunteer weekly at the fifth fife scout troop beavers. This involves working with children aged six to eight years old and leading them in games and activities. I also help to teach them crucial skills for badge-work.
I have also recently spent some time in Italy where I worked as an au-pair teaching English. Whilst there, I spent some time volunteering in a Montessori Primary school teaching English through games and activities.
Perfect! Chloe is proving to be a fantastic tutor for my Daughter. Over the past few months of tutoring, my Daughter’s confidence has grown and Chloe has helped give her the self belief that she CAN pass those exams. Chloe is reliable and organised and her positive attitude provides much needed motivation! I would highly recommend as a tutor.
She is very good at both languages, but is missing some of the fundamentals. She is also lacking in confidence at her ability
Chloe is a wonderful linguist with a clear aim in her tutoring. As a student of Primary Education at degree level, as well as being from a fluent bilingual background, she is well-equipped to teach Spanish to children of any age. She demonstrates this by attending her sessions well-prepared with resources personalized for the individual student. I commend her especially for her work with children, where she among other things brings a decade worth of experience from her work with Beaver Scouts, which undeniably reflects in her teaching as she is patient, friendly, and flexible with kids from all backgrounds. Watching her work, it is clear that teaching is her passion, and I recommend her to anyone in need of a tutor in Spanish.
Spanish is one of Chloe’s strongest languages as she was raised learning it from a young age. Chloe is both familiar with European Spanish and Latin American Spanish, allowing her to understand their colloquial differences. I consider Chloe to be trustworthy tutor as she frequently volunteers in an environment of learning for young children, she is currently studying Spanish at a university standard, and is a patient, friendly and reliable individual with a passion to teach.
