Methodology

My teaching method is to always make lessons fun and exciting. Always to make the pupils feel comfortable and welcome. I use a lot of TPR, to include the student and make them understand. I also study the work of Carol Dweck to ensure all children are included in each lesson.

Experience

I am a primary school teacher with a background in teaching English and Maths to a high level. I have taught in private schools across the world and teach children and adults. I am bold and I strive to surprise by using my creative skills and initiative. I am driven and highly motivated and I have experience of delivering against deadlines and challenges.

Working as a primary school teacher at The Glasgow Academy, it is my role to deliver a high standard of education to all my pupils. While on my probationary year, I provide a teaching program from the Curriculum of Excellence as well as participating in courses that help develop my teaching practice. During my time at The Glasgow Academy, I have helped the school achieve many educational accolades, most notably my involvement in The Digital Working Party leading to a Gold Star Award for the use of digital technology in education.

Throughout my teaching studies and during the summer, I worked as an online tutor, helping educate children and adults improve their English language. I taught children of all ages and levels as well as help adults within a group and 1-2-1. In addition, I would write reports and also conduct demos.
