How I treat my sessions:
I am an honest and giving teacher who believes that every actor is different, and finding a method that works for you is something which is crucial and has to be accounted for. That being said, the works of Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, and various acting coaches I go to in Los Angeles makes the bedrock of my methodology. We will establish goals and real intentions so that the lessons are focused and rewarding.
What do you teach?
I teach audition technique, screen acting, stage acting, drama, vocal coaching and communication skills.
I can also help with choosing appropriate audition speeches.
I work with students of all ages, including complete beginners and professional actors.
I also teach more advanced students and those working professionally entrepreneurship and the importance of capitalising on that to succeed.
I am available at evenings, weekends and during weekday hours - all can be discussed in due course. My lesson durations can range between 1-2 hours per session.
Message to students:
Acting is a career path that requires patience and kindness. Not only to others but crucially to yourself. Elevating yourself and leveling up your skills takes time and I would be delighted to play a part in your journey to greatness!
I am a professional actor who trained at the prestigious Academy of Live & Recorded Arts in London. Working regularly both domestically and, internationally, I have taught students for the past 3 years.
Running my own production company (Bridge The Moon), I have extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry and in particular what it takes to bring good film or theatre projects to life. Splitting my time between London & Los Angeles, I am responsible for creating partnerships and growing the presence of Bridge The Moon domestically and internationally.
I am also the ambassador for The Northcott Theatre & Exeter College’s Drama & Performing Arts Academy. My contribution and consultation of the design and delivery of content gives learners a truly realistic insight into how to gain entry into Drama School and University.
In 2019, I accepted the invitation of becoming a Trustee at Performers In Mind - A cause that works to campaign and fundraise for mental health action in the arts.
I offer a 30-minute free initial consultation so we can discuss your aims, needs and how we can structure the work going forward. That way our first session can be as dynamic as possible!
Based in Wandsworth, it's easy for me to get anywhere but if I am coming to you, I just ask for my travel to be expensed if you are in Zone 5 or in Central London.

My coaching session with Alex was very productive, from sharing personal and professional advice/experience on acting and the industry itself to in-depth theater and screen acting. He gave me multiple opportunities to go over the scene/line until I felt confident. We also worked on adding different styles of acting to find the best angle & style for me. Truly pushed me to explore more as an actor and find my voice. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend Alex’s coaching session.
When I had my first lesson, I thought it would more or less a tutorial of how to act. However, Alex - even on day one - goes far above and beyond. He thoroughly articulates and provides explanations and examples. He also takes the time to answer any question thoroughly. After each session, I always learnt something new and would put into practice what I learned, through self-recording, watching films and taking notes on the acting and filming, etc.
In short, I highly and absolutely recommend Alex!!
