I tailor lessons individually to each student. I work preparing actors for professional auditions, learners for LAMDA Examinations and local festivals, and people from all backgrounds wishing to improve their speech and communication.
All students will be given exercises to work on depending on their particular goals and practice pieces to develop their skills between sessions.
I believe that the arts are an opportunity for self-awareness and self-development for all learners. I ensure that sessions are enjoyable, learning goals clear and I welcome feedback from my students.

I went to Sarah for group and individual lessons for around 8 years. In this time she developed my acting skills; entering me in exams and festivals, where I won first place in my Shakespeare. However what makes Sarah such an inspiring teacher is that her knowledge around plays and methods which helped me to connect to pieces in a much more authentic fashion. Thanks to her support and teaching she had sparked my interest so much I applied for Drama school. I am currently now studying on the Musical Theatre BA(hons) at ArtsEd in London. Sarah cares for each of her students and her honesty and precision I continue to carry with me and apply to my work.
Sarah has tutored my daughter for many years. She is truly an excellent teacher that really gets to know each student as an individual. She’s able to select monologues that challenge the abilities of her students and that suit them well. She always offers helpful and constructive advice that give her students different perspectives on their acting and pushes them to take their own initiative in their performances. I believe she is great at building confidence in young performers and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an acting tutor.
I have taught alongside Sarah for ten years. During that time, I have found her (as a teacher) to be patient, pupil focused and kind. She has the most wonderful ability to draw the best out of a young performer and make confidence flourish.
As a colleague, Sarah is very professional, and easy to work with. She is always happy to discuss differing directorial points of view to find an agreement in the best interest of the performers.
The children we had taught together always had the most wonderful diction, timing and conviction when acting. This is all down to the good technique and classroom practice which Sarah developed.
