Each lesson is tailored to the needs of the student. Every artist needs to focus on different aspects to be able to succeed. I like to focus on reinforcing good habits and strengths while also building up weaknesses to make them strengths.
For singers, working on acting through the song, the sound of the song, and the look. For actors, working on character development, working through the script, and living truthfully under the circumstances of the performance. For playwrights, working on the development of the script.
Teaching artists to strengthen and improve on their skills can feel like a daunting task. I like to be patient with all of my students while encouraging them to push further.
I have a BFA in Musical Theatre at Young Harris College. I am currently working towards a MFA in Theatre Directing from East 15 Acting School. Before receiving my degree, I have been performing and working professionally since I was 7 years old. I have worked for many directors and theatre companies throughout the years.
I have a cancellation fee for the cost of the lesson. Unless there is at least a 3 days notice or if there is an emergency. If I travel for more than 45 minutes, there will be an additional £5 added to the lesson fee.
