Cristina has been a harp teacher since 2013. She was a college harp Professor in Udine, Italy (2017-2018) and is currently a harp teacher at Queen Anne's School, Reading and at Musicmaps, London. She has experience in teaching children, college-level students and adults, including children with disabilities. She teaches harp to all levels, beginners to advanced, including preparation for orchestral training.
Lessons are aimed to amateurs and professionals alike, whether to pursue a career in music or just to learn a new skill! We will cover postural awarness, technique excercises, music expression, sight-reading, playing from memory and tips for performance practice.

Cristina is a professional harpist and harp teacher based in Battersea, London. She graduated from the Royal College of Music (MMus in Advanced Performance) in 2011 with Distinction and has been former principal harpist at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Zagreb from 2013 to 2017. She has performed as an orchestral player in several orchestras (including La Scala of Milan) under the baton of conductors such as M° Riccardo Chailly, Bernard Haitink, Lorin Maazel and Zubin Mehta. She is the prizewinner of 14 national and international contests and has performed as a soloist and chamber player in various concert seasons in England and abroad.
Cristina is a dedicated and responsible person, passionate about music, reading, travelling and the human mind - besides her music experience she has got a MSc in Cognitive Psychology (Music, Mind and Brain). She strongly believes in music education and in sharing her passion for music!
