I have managed in engineering, being responsible at one point for over 250 personnel, covering a range of projects. I have managed in retail, including projects for the opening of stores. I have ran my own business for a number of years now, I have also worked and managed in education. I have a degree in Forest & Woodland Management, and will be undertaking PhD in September 2017, researching cause and effect of tree diseases. I have taught management students up to level 6, retail and business admin up to level 3, engineering up to HND level, and also a large number of students given pastoral assistance with their studies, work, social and learning balance, time management, and career goals.
I completed my BSc in Forest & Woodland management at University of Cumbria, in July 2016, with a grade of 2:1(Upper). Key areas covered are Measuring and management of woodlands, authoring of management plans, designing sustainable woodlands, advanced GIS mapping skills, advanced silvicultural practices, ecology and landscape ecology, temperate woodland dynamics, business management, dissertation investigating the effect of light through the canopy on natural regeneration. I have extensive management experience in various fields, including project management, love working with and managing teams, and passing on essential skills, and watching a team grow.

September 2013-present date, DMAC garden & Woodland Services. Delivering forest management & consultancy, management plans to access FC grants and funding, small scale forestry operations, general garden maintenance. Regular presentation of talks and training for measuring of trees and woodlands, and basic woodland practices.
Dec 10-June 2013, Elmfield Training. Delivering bespoke Retail and Customer service packages to Morrisons plc, as well as Key skills. Responsible for stores based in both Barrow in Furness and Whitehaven.
