Having played in a wide variety of styles throughout my musical career, I am able to teach a range of genres in a number of different ways. My approach to teaching will always be moulded to the student. Whether that means focusing on the reading of music and progression through graded exams, or learning chord theory in order to play songs, compose and improvise. We will devise a fun lesson plan that suits you!
Hi! I am a Southampton based piano and saxophone teacher, specialising in jazz and improvisation. My background in music stretches from completing all of my jazz and classical ABRSM grades with distinction to performing in jazz clubs around the country and playing pop and funk tunes at weddings and corporate events.
I have received lessons from some of the best teachers in the country in my last 8 years of education and feel I can relay a lot of valuable information onto my own pupils. My teachers at both the Royal Academy of Music and the Purcell School of Music have greatly influenced the way I play and the way I teach.
