I work primarily at professional, VQ and degree level providing training in all aspects of management and leadership as well as mentoring ILM and CMI programmes of management. My style is to understand how students work and then tailor materials to them. I tend to work online and also provide coaching via SKYPE, but have access to an array of materials that I have developed over the years for clients. My clients say that I am friendly, encouraging and motivating but that I ask difficult questions. I have mentored some 200 students through leadership and management programmes aged 16 - 60 as well as being a business coach and mentor
I have been providing training and consultancy for around 28 years both in the UK and Asia. It would be hard to calculate how many students I have taught over that time however between 20011 and 2015 I mentored in excess of 200 students through business qualifications ranging from level 3 to level 7 (post grad) with all of them passing and many still in touch!

"As a woman running a new business in an isolated rural island location Jane’s mentorship was invaluable to me. I found her exceptionally approachable and able to assess my needs very accurately in our first meeting. She was able to gain me access to, and insight in to, the wider market beyond our isolated region, as well has helping me to review and recognise my own working style and business needs.
Jane’s time management is excellent and she provides a fantastic working role model to women who lead busy family lives and juggle a serious commitment to their businesses. She was able to offer flexible and clearly focused skype meetings when I was unable to meet her on the mainland. These meetings always included a quick personable catch up and were never hurried even though they covered all of the topics needed. I always came away having learnt something significant and relevant to my business and knowing that Jane had been brutally honest in a positive and supportive manner. This style of working suited my very well. I always felt that Jane truly cared about her offer of mentorship and I was energised by her enthusiasm.
I have no doubt that Jane holds a high level of integrity and was able to discuss any aspect of my life and business with her.
Jane Campbell is a remarkable and inspirational business woman and I am very grateful for her time and support over the past year. My business has benefited as a result and I hope to remain in contact with her.”
Elspeth Soutar, Co-Founder The Wardrobe
"Jane has worked with New Start Highland for over six months and we have built a strong working relationship
with her. From the start, Jane was able to connect effectively with our organisation and values to plan and design the training we wanted. Her experience meant that planning time was kept to a minimum and we were able to preview course objectives and materials in good time before course delivery. Jane kept to all agreed timescales throughout. Training was delivered to our full training team and was well received. This has given our staff the confidence to continue to build on their knowledge and skills of training in a busy workplace. Jane has taken two of our staff through assessor and verifier awards recently and has been entirely flexible in the way they have been supported. We are pleased that they will complete the process by achieving certification.
Throughout Jane was available to work with people on an individual basis and demonstrated empathy and diligence. It was evident that Jane subscribes to our core values and demonstrates the qualities we look for in people.
Liz McIntyre, Training Manager New Start Highland
