When teaching I like to simplify the methods used. Often in IT related training, students consider tasks that they have not yet accomplished as overly complicated. Often the first step in explaining something is breaking it down into simple steps and explaining the reasons why that particular method is best practice.
I have worked in IT as a technician and apprentice mentor for a number of companies. All of the students so far have completed their qualifications and gone on to be successful in their full time jobs. In regards to practical experience I have many years experience working for companies building PCs and carrying out repair work. I also currently head up the training wing of my current IT role including Microsoft Applications, Windows.
