JANUARY 2018-CURRENT: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (TECHNICAL), PSQCA, MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, LAHORE
 Working on testing and technical report generation of various test items in Physical/ Electrical department which includes on-site and off-site testing of items such as Energy meters, Refrigerators, Deep Freezers, Electric Fans, Induction Motors and Pumps, Transformers, PVC cables etc.
 Working ad DQMR- Deputy Quality Manager for implementation of ISO 17025- Laboratory Management System.


APRIL 2015-2017: DESIGN ENGINEER, SIMPLICITY LABS
Working on research and development projects at a Startup Company, Simplicity Labs. Major contributions include:
 Worked on Project Coralsense, designed, interfaced and localized an underwater robot used for coral reef monitoring in deep sea explorations. The project has been successfully completed and handed over to Makkah Techno Valley.
 Assisted in making a Traffic Management system (Trafficity) which provides a complete traffic analysis and monitoring solution for vehicles on highways and provide information such as car count, classification, speed monitoring, vehicle tracking, incident detection and anomaly detection. Worked with OpenCV and GPU processors to provide real time result reporting to end users. The project has been successfully handed over to Saudi Traffic Department.
 Working on feature based object detection and classification using HOG detector and SVMs.
 Making a comprehensive traffic dataset to be released to public and serve as a benchmark for vehicle detection in future studies.
 Start-up selected among top 25 among 900 companies in TIE Start-up cup, 2016 hosted by American Embassy. Winning team would be going to Silicon Valley, USA for Incubation.

Project: Reliable Monitoring of Oil and gas Pipelines using Wireless Sensor networks (REMONG), Project funded by KACST, Saudi Arabia to Umm-ul-Qura University and NUST.

 Successfully deployed WSN network topologies for pipeline leak monitoring
 Developed sensing boards and data acquisition system for real-time parameter monitoring on pipeline test bed
 Worked on Zigbee transceivers for WSNs at API level
 Extensive research work on energy harvesting for WSNs with solar panels, thermal and RF modules, using MPPT algorithms and buck/boost converters
 Composed various proposals, one being featured in Global Entrepreneurship Week as the top 50 start-ups.
