I adapt my teaching method to the individuals I teach and engage students with ideas that have long term benefits. I have learnt so much myself from all the teachers I have had throughout my life, whose tuition has given me great knowledge and confidence in each of these areas, making me an accomplished teacher as well as being able to give the perspective of a performer and working professional in the industry.
I am a horn player, teacher and conductor with BMus Hons from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama now studying a postgrad at the Royal College of Music. I have 7 years teaching experience in individual instrumental tuition, classroom music and workshop leading. I am also the founder of Cor8, an all-female horn octet, who were recently workshop leaders and featured performers at the British Horn Festival 2019. I am able to teach: GCSE and A Level Music, music theory classes (children of all ages), French horn (to Grade 8), Piano (to Grade 5), Trumpet (to Grade 3) and general beginner brass.
No travel cost if you live in Battersea.
Cancellations: payment still required if within 24 hours of the lesson.
If I have to cancel, I will reschedule.
Additionally, there is an option to pay half a term in advance if this suits better.

Millie is one of the most promising musicians and horn players I've ever met. She's always improving and looking for different ways to express her musicality. Millie has a lot of musical experience playing, working with individuals, groups and large ensembles. Millie is also a wonderful and loving human with a lot of patience and creativity.
Millie is experienced, professional and inspiring. She is able to pass on her knowledge effortlessly. I would recommend her to anyone. AG.
