In 2018 I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a Masters in Musical Theatre (Distinction). Before this I completed my undergraduate Music degree (First Class) at the University of York, where I was a first study singer. Most recently I have been performing at the National Theatre, working on new musical theatre writing. I am also a member of the National Youth Theatre, and an alumnus of the National Youth Choir.
I have extensive experience in theatre, opera, musical theatre and classical performance; I have tutored GCSE and A Level students with LAMDA exam preparation as well as advising how to write essays and vivas for professional qualifications. I have also been a resident music tutor on music courses for 9-16 year olds assisting with musicianship and singing.
I am a graduate from the Royal Academy of Music and the University of York, providing singing tuition in a variety of styles. Whether you want to work on some vocal technique, want to find some new repertoire for your next audition or are a complete beginner and want to get started with singing get in touch and let's see if we can do it together!

Emma excels in versatility and kindness. Having performed alongside her in both musical and theatrical settings and been directed by her, she has a clear vision for excellence and a calm, unassuming manner that helps bring out the best in everyone around her
Emma is not only a consummate performer, but a skilled teacher, with years of experience to draw on. Her patience for even the slowest of learners (myself), and kindness in the choice of her words makes working with her on any project a pleasure, and learning with her a joy. Having directed her, her feedback and character insight was invaluable, and absolutely taught me how to tailor my work to the other performers, and enhanced my own performances in the future.
Not only is Emma a highly talented individual in terms acting, singing and dancing, but she is a performer who consistently looks to improve her discipline. Having worked and performed alongside Emma, I know that she inspires a similar ethic amongst others, as well as bringing great energy and focus to all that she does. Her passion for musical theatre is great, and she brings energy, focus and a wonderful sense of fun to all that she does!
