I've been a professional trumpet player and teacher for 15 years, I hold a Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Music plus a degree in Psychology/Criminology as well as diplomas in performance and teaching.
My philosophy towards teaching Brass Instruments is based around good Breathing and a solid technique; these are imperative and the key to development. I also teach music theory and am more than willing to do small group or individual tuition.
I have teaching experience at junior conservatoire level as well as experience working for the local authority. Age is no barrier and I'm happy to teach anyone of any age. I'm a great believer in being able to demonstrate during the lesson as much as possible and making sure my playing is at top notch at all times as I'm expected to do as a professional player. I can Teach all genres and believe in making a lesson fun and being sympathetic to the needs and interests of the pupil.
I'm happy to discuss this on an individual basis
