About Glen
My passion for programming began with curiosity about how software can create meaningful solutions from logic and creativity. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering, gaining strong foundations in theory, design, and practical implementation. Over 11 years, I have guided students across experience levels to develop coding skills, problem-solving confidence, and computational thinking.
I believe programming education should be interactive, structured, and applied. Many students struggle with abstract algorithms or debugging, so I integrate hands-on exercises, real-world examples, and iterative problem-solving to ensure mastery. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s pace, objectives, and learning style, fostering skill acquisition and engagement.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring emerging programming languages, development frameworks, and software projects. Teaching programming is immensely rewarding because I witness learners grow from uncertainty to competence, developing both skill and confidence. Helping students become independent, capable, and innovative coders is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

My lessons cover Python, Java, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, and software design principles. Lessons incorporate hands-on exercises, real-world projects, visualizations, and interactive explanations, ensuring students build confidence and technical skill. Each session fosters curiosity, creativity, and systematic thinking, supporting independent learning and skill mastery.
For advanced learners, I introduce algorithm optimization, data analysis, API integration, and project architecture. Lessons emphasize stepwise problem decomposition, iterative testing, performance analysis, and code efficiency. Guided exercises, code reviews, and iterative feedback cultivate strong computational thinking and professional coding habits. Lessons are tailored for academic success, competitive programming preparation, or professional readiness in software development.
Programming instruction also enhances logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and resilience.
