About Zoe
I have spent 11 years teaching programming, earning a B.Sc in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc in Software Systems and Applications. My professional experience includes guiding students of all levels to develop strong computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in coding. I specialise in making programming both understandable and creatively engaging by combining technical rigour with real-world application.
My teaching approach emphasises clarity, student engagement, and hands-on practice. I design lessons that balance theory, exercises, and projects while providing tailored guidance and constructive feedback. Students are encouraged to experiment, develop independent problem-solving strategies, and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment.
Beyond the classroom, I continuously explore new programming languages, frameworks, and emerging technologies to enrich my lessons. Lesson plans are tailored to individual learners. Beginners begin with syntax, variables, loops, and basic problem-solving exercises. Intermediate learners focus on structured functions, modular code, debugging strategies, and small projects. Advanced learners explore algorithm design, API integration, optimisation techniques, and large-scale project planning.
