Methodology

I believe in making the lessons as enjoyable as possible as I believe in the quote "time flies when you're having fun" and especially with younger children I find it is so important to keep them entertained and I believe that it makes them concentrate more and stay engage consequently causing them to learn much more from the lessons than just me speaking at them for the whole time.

Experience

I am a Psychology student at Newcastle University currently working as an online tutor. I can tutor maths, English at a higher level or the sciences at a basic level as those are what my course entails today. I have tutored and worked with children many times before, one particular example is that i have tutored an 10 year old boy with ADHD in Maths and English which involves constantly ensuring he is listening by making the lessons fun and interactive. I have further worked at a kids summer camp where I would look after around 10-20 ages 5-7 year olds each day making them take part in fun games and arts and crafts but also making sure that they were learning new things everyday to make the fun as educative as possible. I am currently looking for online tutoring while at uni to further my qualifications in the field of child psychology as one day I would like to go into the field of clinical psychology for children.
