I believe in being led by the learner’s needs and requirements and build my lesson planning around their needs; working to the learner’s strengths and interests. With the right teaching and approach I strongly believe that every individual can, and will, achieve success. In a recent Ofsted inspection my teaching and resources were rated Outstanding.
I am a warm, outgoing and creative teacher who approaches each new learner with an open mind and takes the time to listen to them and find out what their expectations are and what they want to achieve. I believe each learner is an individual, and as such no one size fits all. Therefore, each new learner will be met with, either online or face to face, and their needs and requirements assessed, along with the way they learn best, before a scheme of work is created specifically for them.

Perfect! Carol is a very friendly and nice teacher who explains things very well. It's always nice to learn with her.
Samira's daughter is an absolute delight to work with and devours all the work I prepare for her.
Perfect! Carol was brilliant. She agreed to help us at very short notice. We required just four sessions in the lead up to the GCSE's for reinforcement on preparing for English Language papers 1 and 2. My son found the sessions very helpful and enjoyed working with Carol. I can highly recommend Carol to anyone looking for a good and reliable tutor.
I was working with Tracey's son; helping him to prepare for his GCSE English Language papers. He was a pleasure to teach and was very connected and involved with each session. I wish him all the best in his exams.
