Methodology
My teaching methods are flexible and tailored to the needs of each individual. English is a rich and varied subject - I can help people with any areas of difficulty, from textual analysis to creative writing. My approach to teaching aims to play off each person's skills, and use these to craft effective work; I always find that every person has their own insight to bring to a topic, be it original ideas, a great eye for detail, or a beautiful way with words. I aim to help people build confidence in their strengths, and develop areas which could be improved upon.
Experience
I have a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature. I also trained as an English Teacher, and have taught both Language and Literature up to and including A-Level, as well as running various intervention sessions targeted to exam preparation. I have also spent time teaching English as a foreign language, and can assist with communication skills and language development.
