About the lesson
I am a native German speaker, living in England for the last 20 years with broad experience in teaching in the English secondary system. I am young by heart and very approachable and very experienced in creating tailor made lessons to cover your requirements. From one-to-one tuition for beginners up to A’ level standard in German, or up to FCSE in Spanish with a friendly and experienced teacher. I do support my lessons with the help of IT, real lifetime footages and recorded components to improved the pronunciacion in conversations.
Recent posts held include teaching from KS2 - A2 classes and I am as well familiar with the IB program syllabus. I am also involved in the Open University as a cultural ambassador for the German Association, promoting German language & heritage.
I have a successful track record in supporting pupils through the exam process and as a native German have brought a depth of cultural context to my lessons which brings the language to life.
I also teach German literature within the International Baccalaureate program which I make available through online lessons too. (Please get in touch for the hourly rate for Literature lessons). My experience within the Literature is vast throughout all epochs of Literature and I am very familiar with a large amount of works within the German and World Literature. I am involved with the current International Baccalaureate Syllabus.
I teach English to German natives working in English speaking countries. I used to work for Bentley Motors and have plenty of experience in teaching both languages.
My students have an excellent record due to my innovative approach in teaching the languages and cultural contexts.

Perfect! It's very east to talk (in German) with Dagmar, and learn in an enjoyable way. Her IT skills are also excellent for those on-line sessions.
- Dagmar's response : Dylan is in a good command of the language already, he needs practise in order to improve fluency.
