My teaching method for Singing is a combination of things I picked up along the way as a singer myself. These include CVT - Complete Vocal Technique (which is the pinnacle of my teaching), Estill Method, KTVA(Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy), TVS(The Vocalist Studio), SLS - Speech Level Singing (nowadays known as IVA).
I have taught over 100 students over a span of 4 years that I have been teaching. Vocal lessons (for all levels), guitar lessons (for beginners and intermediates), piano lessons (for beginners) and music theory lessons (for all levels) are the services I provide. In all my lessons except for music theory, I firstly work on my students’ technique with various exercises. These exercises are accustomed according to the student’s level and needs. Afterward, we move on to practicing different styles of music. These styles are chosen according to the student’s wishes and strengths. Lastly, we work on songs that the student wishes to learn or songs that I believe would be helpful for the student’s development.
As a teacher, I meet my students either at my residency or their places at a mutually agreed time. I have also been conducting online lessons as of Spring 2019. The duration of one lesson is 50-60 minutes.
I'm a London based music teacher and singer/songwriter.
A Little about me
I started playing the guitar at the age of 13 and shortly after that, I discovered an interest in singing and performing. After playing with various cover bands throughout high school as a singer and guitarist, I decided to move to Vienna, to study jazz and contemporary music at Vienna Music Institute. Upon graduating from there, I relocated to London to pursue a career in music and teaching. In the spring of 2017, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Popular Music Performance from ICMP London. I currently reside in Archway, Islington.
Qualifications: Experienced teacher. Recipient of Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance (Hons) and Austrian Diploma in Fine Arts.
Perfect! Very good. I was suitably pleased. Do recommend unreservedly.
TJ has been my teacher for a little bit under a year, and his teachings have been brilliant. Before his lessons, I’d never considered the complexity of the voice and the science behind a great voice.
TJ does a great job at explaining all of these components while keeping the lessons fun and motivating while also adapting his teaching to my individual strengths and weaknesses. I’d heavily recommend TJ!
I genuinely think I couldn’t have asked for a better (first) vocal coach. I went into the first lesson pretty scared and nervous as it was a completely new experience for me. TJ was super friendly from the offset and has an awesome aura of trust and comfort that’s vital, especially for (horrible sounding) beginners like me. I’ve already had two lessons with him in which we identified key areas of improvement, and I plan to have many more.
Tj is very skilled and extremely knowledgeable, and he helped me a lot with trying to finesse my singing voice. He taught me things I didn't even know were possible to do with my voice. He also has a great personality and is always positive and will support you every step of the way.

Taking music theory lessons has never been easier: you're going to learn new skills.
