If you are looking for a fully qualified, experienced primary school teacher to tutor your child in an engaging way, I would love to help you!
I am the founder and lead tutor at Primary Tutor Project. I have over 5 years of classroom and tutoring experience, and in 2020 began teaching solely online. I adore teaching children both primary subjects and English as a foreign language and have consistently good feedback from parents and students alike.
First and foremost, I aim to inspire a love of learning in any child I teach. My lessons are both fun and purpose driven, ensuring your child takes ownership and pride in their work. Whatever age your child, it is important they understand the objectives of our session so they can see their own progress. There is nothing more encouraging for a child!
I believe that every child can make fast progress when given the right tools. That is why I spend our first session evaluating your child’s level and learning style to make a personalised study plan. This ensures our time is spent focusing on the gaps in your child’s knowledge and challenging them to get to the next level in their learning.
I offer the following programs:
• Primary school Math/ English Reception – Year 6
• Speaking and listening conversation practice
• Reading and writing + English grammar
• Exam preparation (ILETs, Cambridge English exam etc)
Most of my clients opt for these programs, however every lesson is personalised to your child’s learning goals, so get in touch if you have something else in mind.
I have extensive resources based on the British national curriculum that are used in schools across the country, for example, Read Write Inc phonics resources, CPG study books, and White Rose maths to name a few. This aligns our sessions with what your child is learning at school and will help them to feel confident with the format and style of work.
Lessons are on Zoom and are fully interactive to engage and inspire your child in the learning. I offer a 30-minute FREE trial lesson, so get in touch to arrange this!
Although my schedule is almost full for the new academic term, this year I have started working with other excellent, fully qualified teachers so get in touch for an initial session.
Callie is one of our best tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with the following qualifications:
• PGCE in Primary Education
• QTS (qualified teacher status in the UK)
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Management
• Pediatric first aid certificate (American Heart Association)
Alongside my qualifications, I have 4 years’ experience working in London primary schools teaching year 1 - year 6, and teaching English in Colombia, Japan and London to children and adults. For the past year, I have worked as an online tutor - my google reviews can be found when searching 'Primary Tutor Project Wrestlingworth' into google maps.
I have planned and taught all areas of the primary curriculum, and can tutor pupils through phonics, SATs and 11+ test preparation.
In addition, I have worked with children with SEND such as Autism and speech + language difficulties. I am able to understand the individual child’s needs, and adapt my teaching to suit. For many of my previous pupils, English is their second language, so I have various resources to help those children catch up with the curriculum and learn English to a fluent level.
Every lesson includes:
• A free 30 minute trial lesson before you begin
• A long-term learning plan specifying the progression of lessons and your child's learning goals
• Written feedback after every lesson
• Follow up homework tasks (if requested) to ensure your child continues practice at home
Cancellation policy: Full terms & conditions will be sent to you after you contact me. 24 hours cancellation is required for student and tutor.

Perfect! Callie is a wonderful teacher and has a lot of experience with non-native speakers as well. She prepares each lesson carefully and is full of passion in class. The child enjoys her lessons very much and learns a lot at the same time. A big thank you to you, Callie!
Ying is an excellent communicator, and has kindly connected me with engaged, enthusiastic students.
I worked as Callie’s Line Manager for three years within a primary school. She is incredibly committed to ensuring children learn and make progress in the best way possible. Callie’s plans engaging lessons which allow children to thrive. She uses a range of stimuli to captivate children’s imaginations.
Callie is nurturing and is able to build relationships where children feel safe and valued.
I can not recommend her enough as a Superprof!
Callie, helped my son prepare for his year 6 Sat's. Her energy and positive influence on my son was priceless and had a major positive impact on my sons attitude toward studying. Although her sessions ended with my son a couple of years ago he still maintains the good attitude to his studies that he picked up from Callie. Highly recommend.
Having worked with Callie for 4 years as a teacher, I know first hand how good she is as a teacher! She displays endless energy as a teacher and is always pushing her students to learn more while maintaining a fun environment. Cannot recommend her enough!
I trained and worked with Callie in London for three years. She is well organised, very professional and builds great relationships with the children she teaches and the colleagues she works with. Callie was always a supportive, friendly and hard working member of the team. She would make a wonderful tutor for any child.
I taught with Callie for three years, during that time I learnt so much from her - her classes were always calm, lessons well organised and she went out of her way to ensure all of her children were on track and challenged in their learning. To be taught by Callie Is to have lucked out!
