I teach mainly primary school level students but can teach certain subjects up to GCSE level. In my teaching, I use a range of different techniques including visual aids, concrete objects and songs /music to help my students to learn.
I am a qualified Primary teacher with experience across both the KS1 and KS areas. Experience of teaching the year 6 SATS curriculum along with teaching phonics for both year 1 phonics screening and year 2 common exception words screenin.

I am a highly committed and passionate teacher who will go the extra mile to ensure all my students surpass their highest expectation; having experience teaching in KS1 and KS2. I have a wealth of experience in working with young people in a creative arts setting and I am currently helping to assist the choir in my placement school. I decided to train to be a teacher as I am dedicated to improving the quality of education in our schools and I believe that my effective classroom management and teamwork make me an excellent teacher.

Hobbies and interests:
My main hobby is performing in Musicals, which I have been taking part in since I was 8 years old. Additionally, I am a trained singer and have been training children to sing since 2013 as well as being trained in playing the piano. Furthermore, a few years ago I choreographed a production of ‘Joseph and his amazing technicolour Dreamcoat’ for my local musical theatre society.
