My teaching methodology is based on my own teaching experience in addition to my experience with the Suzuki and Dalcroze approaches to music education. I offer lessons to students of all ages and abilities and prioritise the development of the whole musician. This means that during the lesson there will often be improvising, sight-reading and playing by ear in addition to preparing repertoire for performances and exams.
I am a violinist and have been teaching the violin and other string instruments for the last 10 years in schools and teaching studios. In this time I have also completed my Bachelor of Music (Hons.) and Master of Music (Performance Teaching) on the violin as well as my Suzuki primary accreditation (books 1-4).
Lessons are £30 per hour regardless of age or the number of students per group. Will only travel for lessons with multiple students totalling 1.5 hours or more. No cancellations.
