My approach is to prepare students for the exams they’re about to take. Firstly I need to understand the student, their strong and weak areas in the subject, etc. Then I prepare a curriculum and a road map to the final exam. There will be lots of practical examples and exercises and revision, involving past question papers to help them grow in confidence.
I have been tutoring for 4 years. I also have over 20 years of IT experience.
I have a degree in Engineering and qualifications in computer programming.
I have taught up to 18 students from year 5 in primary school up to university level. I have helped one student pass their 11+ exams for entry into a grammar school (she was the only one who gained admission from her school that year).
The others have passed GCSE, A levels (in core maths, statistics and decision maths), and university modules in statistics.
